Texas Instruments

Texas Instruments acquired an existing Lehi wafer-fabrication plant in 2021 -- originally built by IM Flash Technologies, a Micron/Intel joint venture -- and is investing $11 billion to expand semiconductor manufacturing there as part of Lehi's I-15 "Tech Row" corridor, a buildout credited with driving roughly 20,000 of Lehi's new residents between 2020 and 2025.

Smart-home security company headquartered in Provo; acquired by NRG Energy in 2023

Vivint

Vivint, the smart-home security company, is headquartered in Provo, Utah, alongside Qualtrics at the university end of the Silicon Slopes corridor. NRG Energy acquired Vivint in 2023 for roughly $2.8 billion, folding one of the country's largest smart-home security providers into a major national energy company.
