Outside the metro's major-league franchises, Las Vegas hosts national championship-level events across motorsports and rodeo, an internationally recognized mountain-biking destination, and a genuine first-of-its-kind adaptive sports facility, each with a real governing body or public-agency record behind it.

Bootleg Canyon Mountain Bike Park

Built into the desert hills above Boulder City near Lake Mead and Hoover Dam, Bootleg Canyon has earned an International Mountain Bicycling Association 'Epic Ride' designation for its backcountry singletrack and regularly hosts regional gravity and enduro races, including the Southwest Regional Gravity Championships.

NASCAR Cup Series superspeedway (South Point 400)

Las Vegas Motor Speedway

This 1.5-mile superspeedway hosts an annual NASCAR Cup Series race (the South Point 400) plus Xfinity and Camping World Truck Series events, along with NHRA drag racing on its dedicated strip -- one of a limited number of NASCAR Cup-level tracks in the western U.S.

Nevada's first publicly run adaptive sports field (opened May 2026)

Mike Aker Adaptive Field at Desert Breeze Park

Opened in May 2026 as part of a Clark County expansion of the Desert Breeze Ballfields, the Mike Aker Adaptive Field is Nevada's first publicly run baseball diamond built specifically for players with physical and cognitive disabilities.

PRCA's national year-end rodeo championship (annually since 1985, under contract through 2035)

National Finals Rodeo

Held annually at Thomas & Mack Center since 1985, the National Finals Rodeo is the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association's season-ending championship and the sport's top-tier national event, often called rodeo's Super Bowl; a 2024 contract extension between Las Vegas Events and the PRCA keeps the event in Las Vegas through 2035.
