Midland Care PACE

Midland Care opened the 37th Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in the nation in 2007, and today serves Wyandotte and Leavenworth counties on the Kansas side of the metro, among twelve northeast Kansas counties in all, helping enrolled seniors remain in their own homes rather than move into a nursing facility. Operated by Swope Health, PACE KC is the only PACE provider serving Kansas City, Missouri and Jackson County. It runs a $15 million wellness center on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard that bundles primary care, dental, behavioral health, transportation, and home modifications into one program built to keep seniors out of nursing homes.
