Pace Center for Girls launched in Jacksonville in 1985 with ten girls as an alternative to juvenile justice placement, and has since grown into a nonprofit network with locations across 19 Florida counties plus Georgia, earning national recognition including the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges' Impact of the Year award in 2019.
