The Council on Recovery

Founded in 1946 as the Houston Committee for Education on Alcoholism, The Council on Recovery is Houston's oldest and largest nonprofit providing substance-use prevention, treatment, and recovery services, and in 2024 earned a three-year Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation for its clinical programs.
