Denver Art Museum

With an encyclopedic collection of more than 70,000 works, the Denver Art Museum is one of the largest art museums between Chicago and the West Coast. It was also one of the first art museums in the country to collect Indigenous North American art, and for decades was the only major art museum in the world to do so — its Indigenous Arts of North America collection now holds more than 18,000 objects from over 250 Indigenous nations.

Clyfford Still Museum

Opened in 2011, the Clyfford Still Museum holds approximately 3,125 works by Abstract Expressionist Clyfford Still — roughly 93% of his lifetime output and complete archives — making it one of very few single-artist museums in the world built around a nearly complete body of work, purpose-designed to display it.

Denver Performing Arts Complex

The Denver Performing Arts Complex is the largest performing arts center under one roof in the country — a four-block, 12-acre campus with ten performance spaces and more than 10,000 seats, connected by an 80-foot-tall glass roof.

The first “in the round” symphony hall in the United States

Boettcher Concert Hall

Built in 1978 within the Denver Performing Arts Complex, Boettcher Concert Hall was the first symphony hall in the United States designed “in the round,” seating the audience on all sides of the stage. It remains home to the Colorado Symphony.
