Established in 2014 through a gift from the LIVESTRONG Foundation, the LIVESTRONG Cancer Institutes at UT Austin's Dell Medical School treat cancer as a chronic condition requiring whole-person, long-term care and won a 2019 national award from the Association of Cancer Care Centers for its patient-support model.
