Homes for Sale in Alpharetta, GA

North Fulton's tech and fintech hub — corporate headquarters for ADP, Morgan Stanley, and Equifax sit alongside the Avalon mixed-use district and a genuinely walkable downtown.

What Alpharetta is actually like

Alpharetta has built a real identity as a technology hub — the city has invested in fiber-optic infrastructure since the 1980s and now hosts multiple data centers alongside major employers like ADP (about 4,000 employees), Morgan Stanley, AT&T, and Equifax. That corporate base sits next to Avalon, an 86-acre mixed-use development with retail, restaurants, and apartments, plus a separate City Center district — both aimed at giving a traditionally office-park suburb an actual walkable downtown.

For a smaller city (about 66,000 people), Alpharetta has real cultural infrastructure: the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre seats 12,000 for concerts, and the Big Creek Greenway is a 6.1-mile paved trail through the city. Downtown's older core, including the 1912 Mansell House, is a reminder the city predates its tech-hub reputation by more than a century.
